      A Quality Concept In a New Market

      Our tasty On the Hook Fish and Chips brand got its start about a decade ago when University of Wyoming student Ocean Andrew and his friend were looking for summer work. They decided to sell fish and chips, using Ocean’s father’s fresh line-caught Alaskan cod, hand-battered and served alongside thick-cut fries out of a truck they could relocate to campus, outside large businesses, and around town wherever customers lined up. The concept quickly captivated customers, driving immediate success.

      A Fresh and Growing Business

      The tasty concept quickly caught on, and the fresh new business soon developed a loyal following in local communities. Before long, On the Hook Fish and Chips had expanded into exciting new markets across 20 states. By partnering with local businesses to park in their lots and strategically promoting our truck locations in advance, we consistently attract large crowds eager for our hand-battered wild Alaskan cod fish and chips.

      Ocean Andrew

      CEO & Founder
      On the Hook Founder Ocean Andrew developed the idea for On the Hook as a college student looking for a summer job. He trains franchise owners on commissary site selection, food truck design & equipment.

      DJ Kim

      Regional Manager
      DJ Kim has been with the franchise for more than three years, and he brings an extensive food & beverage background with him to On the Hook. He oversees six districts and fourteen trucks.

      Blaine Rasmuson

      Executive VP
      Blaine has been with On the Hook Fish and Chips for four years. He manages products, purchasing, and finances, and he trains Advertising and Scheduling, Accounting and Insurance, and more.
